Well, I'm finally sending some pictures of the project of building a WESTPORT DINGHY. This is my firstbuilding experience and although there are some mistakes, I think (and people who have seen the boat agree) that it came out very well. The project began late October 2000 and launch day was mid May 2001. I used a cedar wine box for the stem and Douglas fir for the frame. Seats are aluminum thwarts with marine ply. Well here are some photos... (in reverse sequence)

This is a truly wonderful boat to row. It has given me hours of enjoyment.
